Meals on Wheels of Northern Illinois is looking for volunteers to deliver meals to home-bound seniors in the Kendall County area. We have available routes in the following areas:
- Yorkville on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
- Plano on Wednesdays
- Oswego on Fridays
- We also need a driver to drop off meal bags to drivers at the Oswego Church on Fridays
Drivers are needed weekday mornings, with pick-up between 9:00am-9:30am. Anormal delivery route is cmopleted in about 2 hours and volunteers are reimbursed for mileage driven while delivering meals.

Fight against hunger by giving back to the older adults in your community! The Community Nutrition Network needs your help serving meals at our café sites as well as delivering meals to homebound adults. These opportunities can last anywhere from 1-3 hours and are located at various sites throughout the northern Illinois area.
At The Community Nutrition Network, we strive to keep older adults and persons with disabilities an active part of their community by providing them with the support they need. Much more than a meal, our programs combat depression and isolation, offers companionship, and provides safety checks for homebound adults.
