Tis’ the season for entertaining and enjoying food with family, friends, and coworkers. Here are 3 easy holiday appetizers that can be shared with those you love.
It’s been a busy week for the Serbinski crew as the boys are BACK from their 6 day trip to Disney with Nana, Goomba, and Uncle Dominic. As much as Lily and I enjoyed our girl-time, we were both ready for some male energy to be back in the house.
Along with the boys being back in town, I spent Tuesday preparing for and taping a segment on WILX Studio 10 Lansing about easy holiday appetizers. To me “easy appetizers” meant some that are time and budget-friendly. Oh and tasty too. You know that also meant me bringing in my go-to appetizer on the blog and of course, my favorite protein: beef.
Just in case you are entertaining or attending a get-together soon, keep these recipes close by!
3 Easy Holiday Appetizers
- Mediterranean Layered Hummus Dip: If I’m asked to bring an appetizer to a party or gathering, THIS is my go-to dip. Plus, the colors just shout the holidays.
- Apple Brie Bites: This recipe I put together after thinking about some of my favorite flavor combinations and again, the colors of the season. Simply layer baguette, Granny Smith apples, brie cheese, walnuts, and a drizzle of honey. I’m thinking broiling the cheese over the apple for a few minutes would take these flavors up a notch as well!
- Mini Merry Meatballs: Inspired by a recipe from Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner.com, these all-beef meatballs are simmered in cranberry sauce with a few tablespoons of BBQ sauce.
If you just so happen to make one or more of these 3 easy holiday appetizers, then be sure to tag @MomToMomNutrition on Instagram!!
And stay tuned as I’ll be recipe testing 2 more appetizers this weekend that include some more sweet and savory combos. Just think: apples and bacon, plus sweet bell peppers and parmesan pesto!
